2. Information we collect

When you contact us through the website, we may collect:

  • your full name;
  • your email address;
  • your telephone number, where provided;
  • the contents of your message or enquiry; and
  • other information you choose to provide to us.

Our website and form provider may also process limited technical information required for website security, form delivery and spam prevention.

Please do not submit sensitive medical information, health information or other special-category personal data through the general website contact form unless Daxwell has specifically asked you to provide it through an appropriate method.

3. How we use your information

We may use the information you provide to:

  • respond to staffing and business enquiries;
  • respond to candidate and recruitment enquiries;
  • communicate with you about your request;
  • maintain appropriate records of correspondence;
  • protect our website and forms against misuse, fraud and spam; and
  • comply with legal or regulatory requirements where applicable.

We do not use information submitted through the contact form for unrelated marketing unless you have separately chosen to receive such communications.

4. Our lawful basis

Depending on the nature of your enquiry, we generally process personal information because:

  • it is necessary for our legitimate interests in operating our business, responding to enquiries and managing professional communications;
  • it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a potential contract or professional engagement; or
  • processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation.

Where we rely on consent for a particular activity, we will make this clear separately and you may withdraw that consent at any time.

5. Contact form processing

Daxwell uses Formspree to process website contact-form submissions.

Information submitted through the contact form may therefore be processed by Formspree on our behalf and delivered to Daxwell's authorised email account.

Formspree operates infrastructure hosted through Amazon Web Services in the United States and states that it uses appropriate contractual safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses, for relevant international transfers.

We only use service providers where reasonably necessary to operate and secure the website and communications.

6. Who we may share information with

Personal information may be shared where necessary with:

  • authorised Daxwell personnel;
  • service providers that support website hosting, email and form processing;
  • professional advisers where necessary; and
  • regulators, authorities or law-enforcement bodies where disclosure is legally required.

We do not sell personal information.

7. How long we keep information

Routine website and business enquiries will normally be retained for no longer than 12 months after the last meaningful correspondence, unless there is a legitimate business, contractual or legal reason to retain them for longer.

Recruitment-related enquiries will normally be retained for up to 12 months after the last relevant activity, unless a longer period is required by law or a different retention arrangement has been agreed.

Information that is no longer required will be deleted or securely disposed of in accordance with our reasonable business procedures.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.

However, no internet transmission or electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Your data protection rights

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may have rights including:

  • access to your personal information;
  • correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • deletion of your information;
  • restriction of processing;
  • objection to certain processing;
  • data portability where applicable; and
  • withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent.

To exercise a data protection right, contact: info@daxwell.co.uk.

We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.

If you have concerns about how Daxwell handles your personal information, please contact us first at: info@daxwell.co.uk.

You also have the right to raise a concern with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator.
